Transfer Partnerships
Ðǿմ«Ã½ (Ðǿմ«Ã½) and select community colleges are thrilled to offer transfer partnership agreements, referred to as the Guaranteed Ðǿմ«Ã½ Transfer Partnership, or the Dual Degree Partnership Agreement which is offered to Prairie State College (PSC) students.
Ðǿմ«Ã½ and community colleges see this as a means of increasing access to and success in educational programs for all students. The purpose of these transfer agreements is to provide full-time students an clear and supportive pathway to earn quality, accessible and affordable associate and bachelor's degrees. There is a strong commitment between Ðǿմ«Ã½ and community colleges to facilitate the transfer and degree completion of students. Students who participate in the Guaranteed Ðǿմ«Ã½ Transfer Partnership or the Dual Degree Partnership Agreement have nothing to lose and everything to gain.
To qualify for the transfer partnership agreement, you must be a full-time student who has completed 12-45 credit hours and is in good academic standing at one of our partner community colleges. Students who in enroll in the transfer partnership agreement are encouraged to complete an associate degree at their community college and then transfer to Ðǿմ«Ã½. These students will be able to take advantage of many program benefits, including the following:
- Ðǿմ«Ã½ to Ðǿմ«Ã½ will be guaranteed. Although Nursing majors do not qualify for this partnership agreement, you can still benefit from direct guidance from your Ðǿմ«Ã½ contact.
- Students will receive on-campus access to Ðǿմ«Ã½ transfer resources including personalized advising to develop a plan to complete your degrees in the shortest amount of time possible.
- Students will be given every consideration for financial assistance and be eligible for one or more scholarships at Ðǿմ«Ã½. Those participating in the transfer partnership agreement will be awarded the Preferred Partnership Scholarship and have the opportunity to apply for the Full-Tuition Scholarship.
- Students will be invited to special events and workshops in support of their college transition and academic success.
- Nursing, Education and Communication Science Disorder students may need to transfer prior to degree completion to ensure progression in the major.
How to Join
Students interested in being part of a transfer partnership and receiving guaranteed
admission to Ðǿմ«Ã½ should submit a Guaranteed Ðǿմ«Ã½ Participation Form. Forms for
each transfer partner institution can be found below by clicking on your current institution's
hyperlink under the "Guaranteed Ðǿմ«Ã½ and Dual Degree Partnerships" heading. Students
looking to begin at Ðǿմ«Ã½ in the fall semester should complete the form by December
1, and students looking to begin at Ðǿմ«Ã½ in the spring semester should complete the
form by August 1.

Transfer Partnership Scholarship Opportunity
The following schools have partnered with Saint Xavier to offer an additional scholarship for those who see the benefits of enrolling in the Guaranteed Ðǿմ«Ã½ Transfer Partnership or the Dual Degree Partnership Agreement.
Ðǿմ«Ã½ also offers a Full-Tuition Scholarship for incoming transfer students that have been accepted into the Guaranteed Ðǿմ«Ã½ or Dual Degree partnership program. The Full-Tuition Scholarship covers the remainder of undergraduate tuition after merit awards/financial aid are applied. The scholarship is available for three consecutive years provided the recipient maintains full-time enrollment and remains in good academic and disciplinary standing. This scholarship does not cover associated undergraduate fees. A recipient is selected for the fall and spring semester. Applications for incoming summer/fall semester students are due April 1, and incoming spring semester students are due December 1.
