Ðǿմ«Ã½'s (Ðǿմ«Ã½) alumni and friends are welcome to attend the various upcoming events throughout the spring 2018 semester. Meet and mingle with new friends and old as you participate in activities that will be enjoyed by all!
Arizona Spring Training Event -- March 16
Ðǿմ«Ã½ Alumni Relations welcomes you to enjoy some Chicago cross town rivalry as the White Sox face the Cubs at Spring Training in beautiful Arizona. We have secured seating, exclusively for Ðǿմ«Ã½ alumni, family and friends, in the All You Can Eat Bullpen Patio located on the left field deck at beautiful Camelback Ranch. Ðǿմ«Ã½ is $45 per person (4 ticket limit) and includes the game entree and an all you can eat buffet (hot dogs, ballpark nachos, popcorn, peanuts, Pepsi products and bottled water). Cash bar will be available; parking is free. Online registration is now available!
Golden Gals Gathering -- March 22
We welcome all the Golden Gals, Ðǿմ«Ã½ alumna who graduated from 1967 and back, to join us for a monthly social club that will afford them the opportunity to become reacquainted with classmates who share in the Mercy tradition.
Ðǿմ«Ã½ Brews and News -- March 22
Ðǿմ«Ã½ Alumni Relations is excited to introduce Ðǿմ«Ã½ Brews and News -- a novel approach to networking. Increase your business connections and career potential by joining us each month at various locations around Chicago and the suburbs. This month's event will take place at Rock Bottom Brewery, 16515 S. La Grange Rd. from 6 to 8:30 p.m.
Game Night at Gil's -- March 28
Game Night at Gil's provides the opportunity to meet other Ðǿմ«Ã½ alumni and members of the Ðǿմ«Ã½ community. Gilhooley's will offer great food and drink specials on every Game Night.
President's Scholarship Celebration -- April 7
Ðǿմ«Ã½ will host its 33rd Annual President's Scholarship Celebration on Saturday, April 7 at the Radisson Blu Aqua Hotel, 221 North Columbus Drive, in Chicago. The gala begins at 6:30 p.m. with a reception featuring the Ðǿմ«Ã½ student jazz trio, followed by dinner and a special performance by Frenchie Davis, a finalist on NBC-TV's "The Voice," whose Broadway experience includes "Rent" and "Dreamgirls" and a Grammy nomination for "Ain't Misbehavin'." Dancing and desserts follow her performance in the Atlantic Ballroom and the Atlantic Ballroom Foyer. Ðǿմ«Ã½ also holds a Catholic Mass onsite at 5:30 p.m. for those who wish to attend.
Wine Reception -- April 12
All are welcome to come and enjoy exceptional wines and sophisticated food at Cooper's Hawk Winery and Restaurant in Orland Park. Our wine receptions have become a tradition and one of our "fan favorite" events that sell out quickly. Hope you gather your friends and colleagues and join us for a fun evening! Ðǿմ«Ã½ is $35 and online registration is required.
