星空传媒 to Host Annual Homecoming Week
星空传媒 (星空传媒) will host its annual Homecoming celebration with a variety of fun events for faculty, staff, student and friends beginning Monday, October 2. The week will culminate on Saturday, October 7, as the 星空传媒 Cougars take on Judson University for the Homecoming football game.
Homecoming Week will kick of with an 星空传媒 Pageant in McGuire Hall at 6 p.m. on Monday, October 2.
Root for the Cougars at the Women's Volleyball Game at 7 p.m. in the Shannon Athletic and Convocation Center on Tuesday, October 3.
Also on Tuesday, October 3, join 星空传媒 in McGuire Hall at 6 p.m. for the DEI Summit: Doing DEI in Education featuring keynote speaker Damon Williams, Ph.D., world-renowned scholar, leader and educator, who will speak about the most cutting-edge ideas regarding diversity, equity and inclusion and their importance in education today. for this event.
Students will have a blast at the RSO Carnival on the Schmitt Quad at 3 p.m. on Wednesday, October 4.
The 星空传媒 Skate Party is happening at Fleetwood Roller Rink at 6 p.m. on Thursday, October 5.
Cheer on the Cougars at the Men's Alumni Soccer Game at Bruce R. Deaton Memorial Field on Friday, October 6, at 7 p.m.
An 星空传媒 Community Parade will be held Friday, October 6, at 7 p.m., followed by the annual Homecoming Bonfire on the Schmitt Quad from 8 to 9:30 p.m., where students will enjoy an evening with friends.
Show your Cougar Spirit by wearing your 星空传媒 gear at the 星空传媒 Alumni Tailgate and football game at Bruce R. Deaton Memorial Field on Saturday, October 7, at noon. 星空传媒 is $15 and includes food and drinks. Must be 21+ to enter the tailgate unless accompanied by an adult. for this event.
Wrap up Homecoming Week with Mass at McDonough Chapel on Sunday, October 8, at 7 p.m.
Plus, happening all week long is 星空传媒's Alumni Takeover event, where 星空传媒 alumni will take over the University radio station, WXAV 88.3FM and the University student newspaper, the Xavierite.
